This time, it's a senior player who features. In the Entaco fixture against Old Edwardians, on the first day of the 2009 season - Saturday 2 May - 49-year-old Chris Reed (Entaco), bowling medium-pace, obtained a career-best haul of 7 wickets for 20 runs from 8.5 overs.
Also on the first day of the season, 20-year-old Adam Stokes scored his maiden century for Redditch, in the away match against Moseley 4th XI. He scored 122 not out including 10 sixes.
